In 1968 we bought a new (longtime on the lot) '67 Coronet R/T. After moving to Texas in 1971, the car had 52k original miles and not a scratch on it except a replacement set of rear tires because the original ''redlines'' were smoked off at Irwindale. So in '72 the car was sold to the rise in gas prices.
In '88 got a notion for another '67 R/T and in '91 found this one in Arlington. 1996 it was completely ''gutted' and restored to it's present condition finishing in early 2000. The motor is balanced, KB pistons, polished rods, 906 heads with stainless valves, Crane rockers and pushrods, Edelbrock RPM Performer cam, intake and 750 carb. It has a hemi oil pump and pickup, windage tray, hemi pan and aluminum Mopar waterpump/housing. A 727 transmission is hooked to a B&M holeshot 2500 convertor along with a B&M shift kit. Driveline has been balanced and connects to an 8 3/4 3:55 suregrip 489 case. All chassis parts that are removable have been powder coated and new bushings, ball joints. etc replaced. The interior is Legendary Pearl white with black carpet. The paint is PPG Deltron '94 Viper blue and a brand-x paint pearl white stripe. All work was done by myself with picture taking by my wife (along with much patience) and engine guidance and head work by our club member and friend Les Adams.
