When I was 20 years old I purchased a 1963 Plymouth Fury. It was white
with red interior and had a 383 with a 4 speed. I really enjoyed that car and
it is maybe what started my love for the early and mid 60s b-bodys.
About 10 years ago I purchased this 63 Fury. I started restoring it in
1999 and finished it in the spring of 2001. It is powered by a 1966 440 with a
pushbutton transmission, built by Dean Allen of Garland. The rearend is a 3.91
suregrip. To help with stopping I added disc brakes. One of the many personal
touch is the square exhaust tips cut into the rear bumper.
At the Dallas Mopar Mini Nats in Garland Texas, Labor Day weekend 2001 I won
Best of Show.
