Bernie & Sandie Powell's 1967 CORONET 440

1967 CORONET 440

Sandie called me one Sunday afternoon in January 2003 to tell me that a car she had told me about a year earlier had a for sale sign on it. I was not interested in buying another car at the time because I had not finished her 70 Cuda. After listening Sandie talk more about the Coronet, we went to look at it over in River Oaks. The original owner had passed in 1996. His daughter told me that she drove it to her job every day and that she was ready to sell it. The Coronet came with the original Title, certicard, window sticker, build sheets, owners manual, warranty info, new car insurance papers, loan papers and ALL maintenance records. The paint, vinyl top and interior is all original. The paint has some chips in it but buffed out nicely for a 36 year old car. It has 98k on the original 383/727. I put Magnums on it but still retain the original rims and hubcaps. She drives relatively nice for having the original suspension and front end. Hope to bring her to more events next year.
