Steve Garske’s 1973 Plymouth Duster
I purchased this car on Ebay last year and had it shipped here from
California. I was pleasantly surprised when I found it had absolutely no rust
and just a couple of minor dents and dings here and there. It was a black 318
car w/ a black interior and black vinyl top. I decided to do a ground up
restoration on it and go back to the original b5 blue.
Most of the chassis is stock but I did replace the drive train from front to
back. It now has a 440 bb w/ a performance cam and Edelbrock 750 cc carb., 727
transmission, an 8 3/4 rear end w/ a 3:23 Suregrip, and front and rear disc
brakes. It took less than a year to build and it's been fun.
I'm now looking for a Cuda or Challenger to rebuild like everyone else.
