Marks' 1969 Plymouth Road Runner has all the mystique of what made the Road Runner famous. A great muscle car at a reasonable price. The car was originally a special order with a no frills package. Even the power steering was deleted which made sense to some Road Runner buyers who figured "if it didn't make it run faster, it wasn't needed". Mark first saw the car in the summer of 1987, just after it had been totally disassembled and sandblasted. He kept in contact with the titleholder through the years and when he saw him again in June 2000, the gentleman asked Mark to help him find a buyer. It didn't take long for Mark to think of himself. In fact, he says, "It was not a hard decision."

Mark says, "It is the most enjoyable car that I have ever owned and the more I drive it the more I like it."Now that seat belts have been installedhe is looking forward to his wife Becky and 7-year-old son Ben, going for a spin and getting ice creams together.Ben is a big fan of Road Runner and Coyote cartoons and because of that Mark has become an enthusiast too. This is one of the great benefits of this wonderful hobby. Families spending quality time having fun together.

Thanks for your story, Mark, and we are happy to have you, your family, and your car as members
