Mark Thorley's Challenger

Mark Thorley's Challenger

This is my baby. I bought her in Dec 2001. She was originally a 318 car but now she sports a 440 with Edelbrock carb and intake, Mopar distributer and electronic ignition, dual electric fans and Schumaker headers. She has a 3 speed manual valve body Torqueflite hooked to an 8 3/4 489 case with 3.55 gears. The rims are American Eagle 211 shod with BFG rubber. The carpet, headliner, seats and dash are all new, and I’ve added a tach and some aftermarket guages. The front end has been rebuilt with PST parts. Many thanks go out to Ken Mcreary, Mike Miller and all those who helped along the way. Next up is some fresh paint and bodywork (anybody got $6000 bucks laying around?). Eventually I would like to put a really hot mill in her, but she is a blast to drive and really turns heads everywhere she goes.

Finally, a huge Thank you to my wife Dianne for her love, support and patience!
