
My truck is a 3500 1Ton Duallie Extra Cab 4x4 with the 5.9 Cummins. The bottom end is stock. I added a Diesel Dynamics cam, beefier springs and a lot of porting on the stock head (2 days on the Exhaust side alone.) On top I have a Banks Twin Ram ported intake followed my custom air tube to biggest air filter I can put on it. The stock 35 turbo is now long gone replaced by two turbo’s.
The first turbo is a H40 mated to a 55 to really get the air moving, which now gives me 72 psi of pressure! All this blows thru a three piece APC header down thru a five inch exhaust from turbo to tip. To keep things cool I added an after market trans cooler and a 24 valve intercooler. To make it all hit the ground I have a BD built transmission with custom valve body and torque converter. If that wasn't enough I have 100 shot of NOS hidden in toolbox. With a single turbo, the truck ran a best 7.90 in the 1/8. This year I will run my new setup at track. The current setup without NOS as put out 500HP and 990lbs of torque at the wheels.
I bought this truck brand new and always knew it had more horsepower in it. I also installed custom black leather seats, black carpet, and a 1200 watt sound system. This truck is and always will be a work in progress because I always find something to add to it. I’ll never get tired of my Big Black Dodge. They will have to pry the keys out of my dead hands.
