Jeff Peterson’s 1970 Plymouth HEMI Cuda
I found this car about four years ago after looking for years for just the
right car. I was more interested in Pure Stock drag racing than concours judging
with this project so the 426ci V-8 was balanced and blueprinted to NHRA Stock
Class specifications. This Cuda also has the Super Track Pack option which
includes a 4.10 gearset.
This Cuda features Black paint with the unusual H6E4 red interior, Shaker
Hood, and a Pistol Grip 4 speed transmission. Although not original it also has
a Red “Hockey Stick” stripe.
Last year when the car was completed and after only 40 minutes of engine
break-in time I made some shakedown passes at the Pure Stock Muscle Drags. I plan to
return this year looking for some high 12 second E.T's.
